Leaving a gift to BullyingCanada in your will (an “estate gift”) indicates your deep commitment to help support youth from across Canada for years to come.
There are a number of ways to give an estate gift:
- Bequest In Your Will: A bequest in your will is the most common type of estate gift. It is a commitment made to BullyingCanada through your will to be distributed by your estate upon your death. A bequest may be a specific sum of money, a piece of property, or a portion of your estate. Most people make a bequest when their will is created or when significant life events cause a will to be updated or changed.
- Gift of Life Insurance: A gift of life insurance will enable you to make a significant gift through a policy you already own or through a series of affordable premium payments. There are a number of ways to donate and plan your gift using life insurance.
- RRSPs and RRIFs: It is easy to donate the proceeds of your Registered Retirement Saving Plan (RRSP) and Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF) to Kids Help Phone. Simply change the beneficiary information on the plan document to BullyingCanada Inc and advise the institution holding your retirement account of the change.
