With the New Brunswick election now underway, the team at BullyingCanada, Canada’s First Youth-Created Anti-Bullying Organization is taking the opportunity to ensure that youth within New Brunswick are not forgotten.

“I have made it a personal goal of mine to ensure that the safety of New Brunswick students is top priority with this election,” said Rob Frenette, 21, co-founder of BullyingCanada.ca

Frenette has contacted each registered political party within New Brunswick requesting that Anti-Bullying measures be announced and to express the importance of making sure students are safe from discrimination and bullying.

“I promised to the citizens of New Brunswick that I would ensure that Anti-Bullying is kept on the front end burner and I intend to keep that promise,” said Frenette

“Political Candidates need to keep in mind one of the most important things during this election: the youth are the future. How can the Political Leaders ask our youth to ensure they stay here at home, for work and post-secondary if they don’t feel safe within their classroom?” questioned Frenette

Frenette has urged each Political Party to create a constructive and positive anti-bullying platform immediately.

“I have contacted each political leader asking for them to take a stand and introduce strong Anti-Bullying measures within their Election Platform”. “The Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick has publicly said they would introduce, Legislation, the Liberal Party of New Brunswick say they will work on stronger Policies, what will other parities do?” questioned Frenette.
