Congratulatory Message - BullyingCanada.ca

I rise in the House today to congratulate Robbie Frenette, of Bathurst, who is a Grade 12 student attending Bathurst High School. He has been a crusader in bringing the issue of schoolyard bullying to light. For a number of years now, Robbie has been active in our community, starting seminars to help other students like him who suffer torment at the hands of schoolyard bullies. He started his own Web site to help them speak out and to encourage youth and adults to get engaged.

He and other volunteers, including Jean-Guy Guindon, Katie Neu, and Marcia Neu, have created an interactive antibullying Web site called , with a chat room, information, links, and other resources to help prevent bullying. I congratulate him. I encourage him to continue all the hard work that he has done with his volunteers, and to continue for those who are sometimes too afraid to speak out on their own.
